Every year CMHACY hosts an Annual Conference at Asilomar Conference Grounds in Pacific Grove. The CMHACY conference is California’s premier event for all those interested in learning about, advocating for and promoting policies, programs, and practices that enhance the well-being of vulnerable children, youth and families.
Since 1980 our conference has offered a forum for policy development, spawned collaboration and partnerships among counties and providers, incubated state-wide parent and youth organizations, hosted nationally recognized speakers, and showcased cutting-edge programs and clinical advances. The conference’s unique, “rustic” culture encourages informal interaction among consumers, providers, policy makers, and advocates.
Conference attendees include parents, youth, public and private sector providers, educators, county agency leaders, state department officials, policymakers and professional advocates.
Sponsors of the 39th annual CMHACY conference help produce a high quality, enriching experience for all participants, and support the continuous advocacy and educational activities of CMHACY. Sponsors gain visibility and increased brand awareness through logo and material presence at the event, in media outreach and materials.
Given the event’s unique value, statewide attendance, and diverse participation, the CMHACY conference is a particularly valuable opportunity for sponsors to reach a broad spectrum of statewide leaders and all involved in mental health.
In addition, your sponsorship helps provide scholarships for youth and parent attendees. Jaela Lacey, a 2018 CMHACY conference youth attendee said, “This conference was like nothing I have ever seen before. It opened my eyes to see more that the world has to offer. I’ve always looked at life through where I’ve grown up; around drugs, dirty streets and around people that are hurting. The workshops were good, especially the one I attended about suicide because I was at that point in my life before. I’m glad I got the help because it helped me overcome that part of my life. I don’t want people to hide what they overcame because everyone has to start somewhere and be built up.”
Your meaningful sponsorship can help youth like Jaela attend this life-changing conference.
