An Additional Opportunity to Showcase Youth Art: Young Minds Advocacy Creative Advocacy Event

In a recent blog posting we highlighted Sacramento County’s call for art from individuals with mental health needs or from those who care for them (including parents and caregivers).  We had asked that readers who were having similar events would forward us their information so we could share the opportunity with CMHACY members. We have become aware of an additional organization which is accepting art from youth to showcase during their mental health month event:  Young Minds Advocacy’s 2nd Annual Creative Advocacy Event.  Please see the following information, which contains a link to the Young Mind’s Advocacy website and an art submission flyer.

Youth Art Submissions
Calling all youth artists ages 15-24: Young Minds is currently accepting 2D and 3D art to exhibit at Creative Advocacy! Participants whose art is selected will receive two free tickets to the event. This is a great opportunity to creatively express yourself around mental health and to see your art hung in a gallery in San Francisco! To learn more visit our website or download our art submission flyer. Please share with any youth that might be interested!
